WOLF SPIDERS
Description:
Body sizes range from 3/8 – 1 3/8” (for females) and 1/4 – 3/4” (for males). Wolf Spiders are typically dark brown, often with pale colored or yellow stripes or markings and stout-robust bodies with long, spiny legs.

Habitat:
Wolf spiders may enter structures in search of prey. They often stay once inside. Indoors, wolf spiders usually remain at or near floor level. They gravitate towards walls and under furniture. Outside, wolf spiders tend to live under stones, landscape timbers, firewood, leaves and other debris.
​
Life Cycle:
Male wolf spiders typically live for one year or less, while females can live for several years.
